Aircraft Smoke Oil for Aerobatics Explained

People like to guess what’s in my smoke. I don’t. I fly with Smoke Oil, Inc. a professional, Kosher-certified product that’s long-lasting, clean, and puffy in the sky.”

I’m not being dramatic and I’m not blowing smoke up your….

When people watch my Pitts leave a clean line of white behind it, they fill in the blanks fast. Heavy. Industrial. Bad for the environment. I get why that assumption exists. I just don’t agree with it.

I care about what goes into my airplane, and I care about what goes into the sky I’m flying in. I’m breathing that air too. I’m practicing over real places over fields, water, and communities and that matters to me. I don’t run what’s easy or cheap. I run what I trust.

For my practices and performances, I fly with Pure Performance 70HC “White Oil” from Smokeroil.com in Newport, Arkansas. They’ve supported ExtremeFlight for years, and that relationship isn’t just transactional. I work with people who understand the way I fly, the precision I need, and what my smoke system has to do every single time I turn it on. In my opinion, its one of the the best Aircraft smoke oil for aerobatics & airshows.

Their support lets me train and refine my routines without second-guessing what’s behind the airplane.

I use their oil because it does exactly what I need it to do: it’s long-lasting, clean, and puffy in the sky. It disperses predictably, doesn’t leave the kind of residue you see with lower-grade products, and gives me a consistent line every time. That’s critical when you’re flying precision aerobatics.

Just as important, it’s designed to be more responsible than what most people picture when they hear “oil smoke.” I’m not going to break down their process or what’s in it — that’s their work but I’ll say this plainly: what comes out of my airplane is far more thoughtful than it looks from the ground.

Back in the early 2000s, Shane Grady, President, put real research into developing an aircraft smoke oil that worked across a wide range of atmospheric conditions while being safer for pilots and more considerate of the environment. That approach matters to me.

That’s also why the Kosher certification matters. Pure Performance 70HC is certified by Dallas Kosher , one of the oldest and most respected kosher certification agencies in the U.S.”

You don’t earn that kind of certification by accident.

I joke that this oil is so pure you could drink it — though you definitely wouldn’t want to.

My standard is simple. I only want the best in my airplane, and I only put my name behind a product I can defend — in performance and in responsibility.

That’s why I fly with Smokeroil.com
